The Local Pages

Your source for local food, shopping, and services.

The Local Pages is Douglas County's first and only comprehensive guide to local food and independent business.  We figured if we were going to encourage our community to Think Local First, we should make it as convenient as possible to do so. Out of this idea was born The Local Pages.

Inside this glossy, glove box sized publication you'll find:

  • information on where to pick strawberries in season
  • how to order naturally raised meat for your family
  • unique downtown stores with great gifts and the hottest fashions
  • contractors who can help fix up your house
+ hundreds of other businesses that make Douglas County the unique place we're proud to call home.

When you Think Loca' with one of the businesses listed in the Local Pages, you take an active role in building a strong economy and community in Douglas County.  All of these businesses are local, and independently owned.
